Electrical safety instructions (ESA) cover the operational measures as well as the working procedures for safety work on site or in the area of electrical installations. By complying with ESA, the employer meets the requirements contained in the Work Environment Act to take the measures needed to avoid ill health and accidents. ESA is a clarification and complement to the standard of SS-EN 50110-1.
